Saana offers three boats available for rent, making it easy to explore the lake at your own pace and experience the beauty of Kallavesi from a unique perspective.

The boats are available for rental during Saana’s regular opening hours.

Please note that the electric motor battery provides approximately 1–3 hours of operating time, depending on speed, weather conditions, and usage.

1. Renter and Right of Use

1. Renter and Right of Use

  • The boat is rented for private use and is used entirely at the renter’s own risk.
  • The person operating the boat must be at least 18 years of age.
  • The renter is responsible for ensuring that the boat is used in accordance with these rental terms and conditions

2. Safety

  • The use of life jackets is mandatory for all passengers at all times while the boat is in use.
  • The boat may carry a maximum of 3 persons or a total load of 240 kg (including passengers and equipment).
  • The renter confirms that they are familiar with and will comply with all applicable water traffic regulations and boating rules.
  • The renter is liable for any damage, loss, or injury resulting from failure to follow these regulations or from careless or negligent use of the boat.

3. Liability and Damages

  • The renter uses the boat entirely at their own risk.
  • The renter is responsible for any damage caused to the boat, its equipment, or third parties if such damage results from the renter’s actions, negligence, or failure to comply with these rental terms.
  • Any damage, defects, malfunctions, or other issues concerning the boat or its equipment must be reported to the rental provider immediately.

4. Usage Restrictions

  • The boat must not be operated during hours of darkness or in adverse weather conditions.
  • The boat may not be used for racing, competitions, or any activities considered hazardous or unsafe.
  • Operating the boat under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any other intoxicating substances is strictly prohibited.

5. Rental Period and Return

  • The boat must be returned within the agreed rental period.
  • Upon return, the boat must be in a clean condition and in the same operational condition as when it was handed over to the renter.
  • An additional fee may be charged for late returns.
 

6. Cancellations and Interruptions

  • The renter agrees to notify the rental provider of any cancellation as early as possible.
  • The company reserves the right to cancel the rental due to weather conditions, technical issues, safety concerns, or other circumstances beyond its control.
  • In the event of a cancellation by the company, the renter will be offered an alternative rental time or a full refund of any prepaid rental fees.

7. Acceptance of Terms

  • The renter accepts these terms and conditions by signing the rental agreement or electronically during the booking process.
  • The renter confirms that all personal information provided is accurate and agrees to act responsibly and in accordance with these rental terms and applicable regulations.
