We offer our guests unforgettable Saana experiences.
At our spa, you can enjoy a traditional Finnish sauna experience in our authentic, award-winning wood-heated smoke sauna (heated daily from 1:00 PM), located on the shores of the crystal-clear Lake Kallavesi.
The spa area also features a warm relaxation pool, an infinity pool, an indoor electric sauna, and a hot tub for year-round enjoyment.
As our newest addition, we have introduced a cold plunge pool, where you can cool off in refreshing water maintained at +4°C to +8°C (39°F–46°F), providing the perfect contrast to the warmth of the saunas.

We use dynamic spa pricing, with ticket prices starting from €15.
Please Note
The changing room capacity in the Sauna & Spa area is limited. To guarantee your entry, we recommend purchasing your ticket in advance.
The Sauna & Spa area is adults-only (18+) from 6:00 PM onwards every day. Children aged 0–12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
You can purchase a sauna seat cover from Saana for €1, or you are welcome to bring your own.

The outdoor pools provide the perfect way to warm up before or after enjoying our famous smoke sauna.
Award-Winning Smoke Sauna
Our smoke sauna is heated with a traditional wood-fired stove and is available daily from 1:00 PM onwards.
Please note that because the sauna is heated only once per day, the temperature may vary later in the evening. For the best sauna experience, we recommend visiting between 1:00 PM and 7:00 PM.
What to Bring
Please remember to bring your swimwear. Towels are available for rent on-site.
The spa also features a bar where you can purchase refreshing drinks and beverages during your visit.
Important Information
Bringing your own food or beverages into any of Saana’s facilities is strictly prohibited.
From 6:00 PM onwards, the Spa Area is strictly 18+.
KevytOlo SPA
Throughout the summer, every spa ticket includes a complimentary KevytOlo wellness drink.
Offer valid from June 1 to August 31, 2026.
At Saana Spa in Kuopio, you can relax in our saunas, enjoy the heated pools, and take in the beautiful views of Lake Kallavesi. This summer, your spa experience is complemented by a refreshing KevytOlo drink, included free of charge with every spa admission ticket.
Spa ticket prices are based on dynamic pricing, with rates varying according to demand and time of visit.
Prices range from €15 to €27.

Student discount
Student Discount on Spa Tickets
Students can enjoy the Kuopio Saana Spa experience for 25% less throughout August and September.
The discount applies to regular-priced Spa tickets and is available by presenting a valid student card at the reception.
